Morning walk, 19th April 2012

Wet. Snails everywhere on the cemetery path: literally hundreds. It was impossible to avoid stepping on them. I've never seen so many in one place all at one time, but just photographed one to avoid giving gardening readers palpitations.

I remember a rural bus stop long ago that was covered with Shiny yell and brown striped snails that looked like they'd been varnished they were so glossy and So numerous I can picture them still :0)
