Good to see the dog keeping up her appearances! Quite exciting to see some sun too.

I'd like to know more about the Irchester Village situation. What kind of development? Houses, business?? What hopes do you hold for success?

Nan, the proposal is for houses, but not any associated business. There is land set aside for a health centre, but as far as I understand, this would still have to be bought, and the health centre built, out of other funds. The land next to the sports centre would be given to the Parish Council for them to do with as the Parish wants: which of course might not be football pitches, but other sports facilities. As for what hopes we hold for success, it's difficult to be sure when planning law has only just changed.

So upsetting, esp. if it is a little place that is used to be quietly beautiful. Is a health centre a hospital or is it like a gym - an exercise place? I worry about England losing its green spaces.

The health centre is what we seem to call doctors' surgeries now. I think it would replace the current surgery, where you can visit the doctor, and get some treatments done by the nurses.

I worry too about us losing our green spaces.
